Sidney (Casey) Neuman advises clients on matters of taxation, estates and trusts, estate planning, retirement planning, and charitable planned giving matters, working to ensure that the individual's wealth will reach the people or organizations in a manner the client chooses while minimizing federal and state taxes. Casey's skills have been recognized by his peers, being selected for multiple editions of The Best Lawyers In America for over 20 years, an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers since its inception in 2004, and as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He has been called on to speak before the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on the administration of estates, and before the University of Kentucky Estate Planning Seminar and the Pittsburgh Tax Conference on estate planning. Extremely active in the Pittsburgh Jewish community, Casey has served as a member of the board and as an officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, The Jewish Chronicle (as well as past President) and the American Society for the Technion (past President of its local chapter). He is also past President of the Beth El Congregation of the South Hills and has written numerous columns on estate planning for The Jewish Chronicle. Casey earned his B.A. and his LL.B. from the University of Kentucky and his LL.M. from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Order of the Coif, Phi Alpha Delta, and served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Kentucky Law Journal from 1960-1961.
