Summary:
Bernadette Puzzuole is an attorney in the Real Estate and Corporate Departments and a member of the Health Care & Physician Practice Group. In the Real Estate Department, her practice centers on land-use planning, condominium and planned community development law, zoning, and creation and governance of condominium and homeowner associations. In the Corporate Department, her practice centers on mergers and acquisitions and general contract work. In the Health Care and Physician Practice Group, she has represented physician groups in organizational and corporate issues, as well as real estate transactions. She has published articles in Widener University Journal of Public Law, The Jewish Chronicle, The Pittsburgh Legal Journal and the William Penn Association Newsletter.

Bernie attended West Liberty College, earning a B.A. with honors. She received her M.A. from West Virginia University and her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University.

Professionally, Bernie is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, including its Real Estate and Trust Section and Women in the Law Division, serving as Chair of the latter for 2002-2003. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and its Commission on Women in the Profession, the Ohio Bar Association, and the Women's Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania.

Bernie is also very active with the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce (PAACC), serving on their Board of Directors for a three year term beginning in 2006, as Vice-Chair and a member of the Executive Committee beginning in 2007, lecturing for its Fast Track Business Entrepreneurs Program on choice of business entities and serving as a mentor for start-up businesses in that program, lecturing for its Chamber University for small businesses on leasing and purchase of real estate, and participating as a teacher in its Choices program for middle school students.
