Summary:
Bernadette Puzzuole is an attorney in the Real Estate and Corporate Departments. In the Real Estate Department, her practice centers on land-use planning, condominium and planned community development law, zoning, and creation and governance of condominium and homeowner associations. In the Corporate Department, her practice centers on entity formation and related business transactions. She has represented physician groups in organizational and corporate issues, as well as real estate transactions. She has published articles in Widener University Journal of Public Law, The Jewish Chronicle, The Pittsburgh Legal Journal and the William Penn Association Newsletter.

Bernie attended West Liberty College, earning a B.A. with honors. She received her M.A. from West Virginia University and her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University.

Professionally, Bernie is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, including its Real Estate and Trust Section and Women in the Law Division, serving as Chair of the latter for 2002-2003, and is currently in her second term as co-Chair of the Gender Bias Committee of the WLD. She is also a member of the Ohio Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania.

Bernie is also very active with the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce (PAACC), becoming the first female Chair of the Board of Directors in 2011, having served in the past as a member of the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and as Vice President. Aside from her leadership position in PAACC, Bernie also was active on its behalf, lecturing for its Fast Trak and CoreFore Business Entrepreneurs Programs, Women's Interest Network, and participating as a teacher in its Choices program for middle school students.
