Summary:
Chad Tomosovich is a member of Rothman Gordon's Business and Corporate Law Department, where he counsels small to mid-sized businesses in formation, the drafting of various types of contracts and agreements and structuring and facilitating various types of business transactions. Chad also works closely with his clients on all aspects of business planning and the implementation of legal strategy into the day-to-day operation of his clientsą businesses. Chad's area of concentration also includes corporate finance, and he advises individuals and businesses in the procurement and structuring of commercial and private financing. Chad also advises clients on intellectual property and technology related legal issues.

Prior to joining Rothman Gordon, Chad was an associate with a Pittsburgh-based international firm. In his previous position, Chad counseled large clients engaged in a variety of business transactions ranging from venture capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions to initial public offerings. He also worked closely with these clients on general corporate governance and business issues.

The transactions on which Chad has worked, range from $100,000 to $300 million . His clients come from a broad range of industries and consist of early-stage companies, as well as more mature enterprises. This broad range of experience makes Chad a valuable counselor to clients engaged in many types of businesses across a broad range of industries.

Chad received his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics from Elon University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the Allegheny Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Growth and Rainmakers of Pennsylvania, where Chad serves on the Board of Directors. Chad is the founder of the Young Entrepreneurs of Pittsburgh. Chad also served as an instructor for the Entrepreneur Development Program at Robert Morris University and is a graduate of LDI XIV. Most recently Chad was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2006, a recognition given to only 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania lawyers. Chad was also a recipient of this award for 2005.
