Yagelski Partner pryagelski@rothmangordon.com Summary: Paul Yagelski joined Rothman Gordon in 1994 and practices in the areas of commercial law, creditors' rights, work out/business closures, and litigation. As to his civil litigation, this practice includes contract actions, commercial and creditor litigation, corporate litigation, tort litigation, remedial litigation, tax litigation, and bankruptcy actions. Paul has litigated before State and Federal Courts and the American Arbitration Association. He has also been engaged in litigation involving the National Association of Security Dealers. Since 2002, Paul has been certified in Creditors' Rights Law by the American Board of Certification and has represented a large number of clients in varying creditor actions. He has had extensive involvement in bankruptcy proceedings, including proceedings involving motions for relief from stay, motions for dismissal of bankruptcy proceedings, and objections to the discharge of claims. Paul has been involved in a number of successful work outs or business closures. Paul earned his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Scranton and his J.D. at Duquesne University. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Paul is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and an active member of the Downtown Business Connection Group.
