![]() FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ATTORNEYS TO CO-PRESENT KEYNOTE SESSION AT ANNUAL EMPLOYMENT LAW INSTITUTE WESTPittsburgh, PA — October 8, 2004 — Attorneys Louis B. Kushner, a partner with Rothman Gordon P.C., and Lynn C. Outwater, a partner with Jackson Lewis LLP, will be presenting the opening keynote session "The Year In Review: What's Been Happening in Employment Law?" at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's (PBI) Annual Employment Law Institute West.The PBI is the continuing legal education arm of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. The two-day seminar is billed as "the event of the year in Western Pennsylvania for everyone who handles workplace issues." The Annual Employment Law Institute West is being held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 17 and 18, 2004. Registrations are being accepted at www.pbi.org. Mr. Kushner is a nationally distinguished Labor and Employment Law attorney and mediator. His concentration of practice is in the representation of executives, minority shareholders, and professionals such as attorneys, CPA's, physicians, teachers and college/university professors with respect to their employment matters and the representation of numerous public and private sector unions. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Penn State and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr. Kushner resides in Squirrel Hill with his wife, Sandra R. Kushner, also an attorney. The have three children. Ms. Outwater is the Managing Partner of Jackson Lewis' Pittsburgh Office. Her areas of practice include disability management, reductions in force, labor relations, management training and litigation avoidance. She has written numerous books and articles on workplace and employment law issues. Ms. Outwater earned her B.A. from Fordham University, her J.D. from Albany Law School and her LL.M from New York University.
