JORDAN RECEIVES DR. HOWARD A. MERMELSTEIN LEADERSHIP AWARD
Pittsburgh, PA — June 1, 2006 — Stephen H. Jordan, Esquire, was honored with The Dr. Howard A. Mermelstein Leadership Award on May 18, 2006. The Dr. Howard A. Mermelstein Award was established in March 1993 by Beverly Mermelstein, widow of Dr. Mermelstein and is given to a Jewish Family & Children's Service (JF&CS) board member who displays leadership, talent, commitment to the community and dedication to the mission of JF&CS. Mr. Jordan has been a member of the JF&CS of Pittsburgh Board of Directors since 1999, serving on the executive committee in various positions since 2001. He is currently serving as Assistant Secretary. In addition, Mr. Jordan is a board member of Community Day School and he has served as secretary of the Jewish Education Institute and is a past board member of the Jewish Community Center.
Mr. Jordan is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. He resides in Squirrel Hill with his wife, Susan Foreman Jordan, Esq. They have two children. Mr. Jordan is a shareholder of Rothman Gordon P.C., having practiced law with the Firm since 1976.
