Two Rothman Gordon Attorneys Sworn In to Practice Law in Ohio

Pittsburgh, PA – Rothman Gordon attorneys Paul R. Yagelski and Raymond M. Roberts have been sworn in to practice law in Ohio. Mr. Yagelski and Mr. Roberts, who are both licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, made the decision to seek admission to the Ohio Bar to better serve their clients.

Mr. Yagelski joined Rothman Gordon in 1994 and practices in the areas of oil and gas law, commercial law, creditor’s and debtor’s rights, and litigation. In 2012, Mr. Yagelski was named is co-chair of Rothman Gordon’s oil and gas practice, representing landowners. In addition to lease reviews and negotiations, he also litigates oil and gas and civil cases. Mr. Yagelski has represented numerous landowners in Western Pennsylvania in oil and gas matters including   negotiation of oil and gas leases and pipeline right of way agreements and litigation. In addition, Mr. Yagelski’s litigation practice includes commercial litigation, and bankruptcy actions. Mr. Yagelski  earned his B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Scranton and his J.D. at Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.

Mr. Roberts practices with the Business & Corporate Group, representing buyers and sellers in asset and stock purchases, merger and acquisition negotiations, and advises clients with respect to corporate governance issues.  In addition, Mr. Roberts has a robust estate planning and administration practice and real estate practice, including the representation of landowners in the negotiation of oil and gas leases, pipeline right-of-way agreements and related matters.   Mr. Roberts earned his B.A. in History from Duquesne University and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the Allegheny County and Greene County Bar Associations.
