Vincent C. Deluzio
Vince Deluzio’s practice centers on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience with complex issues involving corporate control mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In 2005, Vince co-founded R&V Associates, a consulting firm with an emphasis on health care. He brings his corporate and industry knowledge to Rothman Gordon clients, augmenting our Corporate and Closely-Held & Family Business practice groups with his thirty-plus years of experience. Vince has been involved in a number of high profile bids for corporate control. Among them, he represented Conrail in its takeover battle involving CSX Corporation and Norfolk and Southern and successfully defended Pennsylvania Power and Light Company against a takeover bid by Philadelphia Electric Company. At Rothman Gordon, he concentrates on advising mid-market companies in transition and assisting clients with crisis management.
Vince is active in the Pittsburgh community and has a special commitment to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. In addition to serving as Vice Chairman of Children’s Board, he has held key positions on the Board of Trustees’ Executive Committee, including Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee and nine years as a key member of the team assembled to restructure the Hospital. Vince was an integral part of the negotiation of the acquisition of Children’s by UPMC and the resulting agreement to build a new state-of-the-art facility on the site of the former St. Francis Hospital.
Vince graduated, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh’s College of Arts and Sciences in 1968 and from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, alsocum laude, in 1972.
