August 31, 2011
August 31, 2011 — Rothman Gordon is proud to announce that 13 lawyers were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012 (Copyright 2011 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.), representing 65% of our partners. They include: Thomas R. Solomich and Samuel L. Douglass for Real Estate Law; Shelley W. Elovitz and John W. Zatkos, Jr. for Workers’ Compensation Law; K. Sidney (Casey) Neuman, James W. Ummer and R. Douglas (Doug) DeNardo for Trusts and Estates; Frank G. Salpietro for Banking & Finance Law; Colleen Ramage Johnston for Litigation — Labor & Employment; and Stephen H. Jordan, Alan C. Blanco, James W. Carroll, Jr., and Louis B. Kushner for Labor & Employment Law. Mr. Kushner was also listed for Mediation and Mr. Douglass was also listed for Natural Resources Law and Mining Law.
In addition, U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers® have released the 2011-2012 Best Law Firm rankings and Rothman Gordon has achieved Tier One rankings in four practice areas: Employment Law — Individuals; Natural Resources Law; Trusts & Estates Law; and Workers’ Compensation Law — Claimants.
Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 39,000 leading attorneys cast almost 3.1 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counselmagazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
