Environmental Lawyer Brandon Coneby joins Rothman Gordon

Pittsburgh, PA – The attorneys of Rothman Gordon are pleased to announce that Brandon Coneby has joined the firm. Mr. Coneby represents landowners and energy companies, focusing on environmental issues relating to energy extraction, including coal extraction, and natural gas exploration, production, and distribution. As part of his environmental practice, Mr. Coneby also works with landowners to negotiate oil and gas leases, rights of way, surface rights agreements, and the sale of mineral rights.
A niche aquatics practice arose from his personal interests. Mr. Coneby routinely advises municipalities, homeowner associations, aquatic facility operators and homeowners on a variety of issues including lifeguarding and safety requirements, compliance with the Virginia Graeme Pool and Spa Safety Act, and the applicability of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to aquatic facility operations. He has represented numerous parties in lawsuits involving swimming pool construction defects and swimming pool accidents.
Mr. Coneby earned his J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law. He also holds a B.S., cum laude, in Economics from Penn State University.
