We regularly assist condominium associations and homeowner associations, including master associations, with the various legal issues that they face. On behalf of our clients, we have drafted, interpreted, and amended governing documents such as declarations, bylaws, and public offering statements and facilitated the transfer of associations from developers to new association boards. We counsel clients on applicable state and federal laws affecting condominium and home owner associations, including the Uniform Planned Community Act and the Uniform Condominium Act; draft and negotiate service and management contracts on behalf of associations; and assist them with enforcing covenants, rules and regulations; and collected outstanding fees and assessments. We work with associations and their boards to develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
