Kushner Appointed as Mediator for U.S. District Court

Pittsburgh, PA — August 8, 2006 — Louis B. Kushner, a partner at Rothman Gordon, P.C., has been appointed as a Mediator and an Early Neutral Evaluator for the United States District Court for the Western District of PA.

Mr. Kushner is a nationally distinguished Labor and Employment Law attorney and mediator, having mediated over 200 cases. He is a Senior Mediator on the Employment and Commercial panel of Justice ADR Services, JUSTUS Medical Malpractice Group, the American Arbitration Association National Panel of Mediators, and the NASDA panel. He served as Senior Editor for a book on alternative dispute resolution in employment law to be published by BNA.

Mr. Kushner has been selected as one of The Best Lawyers In America, a publication which lists lawyers considered by their peers to be the most outstanding attorneys in their area of specialty, in every edition since its inception in 1987. He has been named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer every year since its inception in 2004, as well as one of the Top 100 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and one of the Top 50 Pittsburgh Super Lawyers in 2005 and 2006.

Mr. Kushner earned his B.S. in Accounting from Penn State and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He resides in Squirrel Hill with his wife, Sandra R. Kushner, also an attorney. The have three children.
